I bought this for my teenage bearded dragon but didn't like the temperature of the stone so we didn't use it. My sister has a monitor lizard and she mistook it for her lizard. The lizard loves it and has no problem with it. We bought a heating coil for my teenage beard so it worked out in the end.

I have vermicompost bins and was looking for a way to keep my wigglers warm for the winter. This is the perfect solution. They keep a good constant warmth that won't burn or dry out the worms. They happily feed and breed, even when the temperature drops. delivery was quick and well packaged.

Both my Tegus love it. I was wary of these products because people were talking about burns. It doesn't seem to get very hot. Some of the red stone material comes off when it gets wet/thing pisses on it and you have to rinse it off (gently), but it's not too bad. Seems pretty strong. I want to get a bigger one.
