They work and the blunt tips are safe

They do the job. They grip food well and the blunt ends ensure they don't injure the animal while feeding. They are also good for picking up dirt from the terrarium floor.

Pros
  • 2 packs of Zoo Med Labs Stainless Steel Feeding Tongs
Cons
  • Hard to tell

The best feeding tongs I have ever used

You'd think cheap pliers would do, but they're a lot better than most. I had to pry some fluffy hairs from my tegu tongue and was able to get a good grip without hurting myself by biting into the bare metal. I also love them for my snakes. I can hold their prey much tighter than other pincers I've used and they wiggle without dropping them into the substrate.

Pros
  • These tongs are ideal for hand feeding marine triggerfish, marine invertebrates, large cichlids, turtles, chicks, reptiles and other small animals.
Cons
  • Expandable

Detachable Rubber Tips Good Quality Bearded Dragons

Love my Zoo Med Feeder, I have several straight 10 inch milk snake feeders but the slanted ones are perfect for feeding my bearded dragon crickets. The hands are all weird in the cage, more for them to get a good angle to get their crickets! She prefers them with the rubber tips removed (the crickets slip out of the smooth handle easily), but there are nice ridges under the rubber tips on the steel, just like my Zoo Med straight tongs! So win, win! Great purchase, I will be ordering more as…

Pros
  • Softly curved tips make your pet's lunch safer and easier for both of you.
Cons
  • Damaged
