Advantages: This platform is large and can support 1.5# RES. My turtle is about 6.5-7 inches long. The UPPER suction cups will stick, not the lower ones. But that seems to be enough to hold it in place and keep my turtle afloat. Cons: The platform seems to be reset. I ordered their largest version of the turtle dock and am not disappointed with the size in my 40 gallon breeding tank. However, without suction cups! Luckily I already had a small dock that I was using and was able to remove 4 suction cups from it to use on a larger dock (thank god they're universal!).
