30Amp Circuit Breakers,Yellow Manual Reset button, 4 Gauge Plated Inputs. Surface Mount, protective stud insulator included. Stud Size: 1/4"-28 Meet S.A.E. J1625, J1171, UL1500 (Ignition Protected). Housing is thermalplastic UL rated 94V0. Application: Typically used in auxiliary and accessory circuits for trucks, buses, RV's and marine applications. Also used in battery charges and DC sound system.

Powerful Waterproof Switch for Cars

As my tests showed, this switch is an excellent choice for performance car owners. Its waterproof design and high capacity make it perfect for harsh conditions and heavy loads .However, the installation can be tricky for beginners..

Turns off too soon

I bought a 60 amp circuit breaker to protect the 12 volt (nominal) circuit of the solar charger. The circuit breaker must be able to withstand and trip up to 60 amps, but will regularly trip between 40 and 45 amps (normal operating range of the solar array and charger). Now I need to buy a more reliable and properly sized switch. Save yourself the hassle and use a more accurate breaker.
