Good card, but noisy and overpriced

Overall, the card has excellent performance and excellent thermal characteristics. The design is fantastic and the lighting helps the map look even better. The biggest problem are the fans. While they do their job well, they are incredibly loud. While wearing headphones helps with gaming, it's still audible, albeit a lot less. After adjusting the fan curves, the noise has reduced but is still noticeable. The MSRP price is also high considering what competing cards like strix, ftw3, and xc3…

Pros
  • 8 GB 256-bit GDDR6X, 19 Gb/s, PCIE 4.0; Boost Clock 1830MHz
Cons
  • Everything OK

Powerful but VERY loud

I bought a Zotac RTX 2080 a few years ago and it was great so I chose it quite confidently. I was wrong! Performance is good and all, but it sounds like a mini plane taking off while you play. I can even hear it in my headphones mid-game. The problem becomes noticeable when the fans hit 70%, which is guaranteed to happen with any decent game. You can try driving it with Firestorm, a terrible app for Zotac's GPU that aims to hit 1900+ MHz at around 83 degrees Celsius or less while turning down…

Good performance but fans think it's noisy

This card looks great and has great RGB effects. It also does a good job and stays cool under load. However, the fans are loud, just like on the 5700XT. Other reviewers also found the fans too loud. However, this can be mitigated somewhat with undervoltage and manual fan control. Also in terms of cost, I paid way too much for the 3070TI and it was even on Zotac's MSRP with Amazon as the seller. If the GPU market hadn't been completely destroyed, I would have bought a different model. I'm lucky…

Decent overpriced card

Games seem to be fine with this card so far. FPS from 80 to 100 in a Warzone game. I overclocked a bit and the max temp is around 76 (72 without overclocking). I went with the Zotac based on reviews and the triple fans are pretty noisy under load as expected, but they do the job. They only turn on when gaming and my headset mostly blocks them. Zotac's software is clunky and finicky, but seems to handle overclocking well. This is the only way to control the lights, so syncing with the mobo is…
