Zulkit Junction Box Blue Metal Project Box DIY Electric Enclosure Case Preventive Case Electrical Box 7.9 X 6.5 X 3.5 Inch Review

Really a nice looking case and quite sturdy in it's construction even with very short tiny screws that hold it together. There are four screws with nuts that are difficult to assemble especially with large fingers. The one thing that would have given this case 5 stars from me would be rubber feet, not hard plastic.

I was skeptical reading some of the negative reviews, but you can't swim if you don't dive into the water.The boxes are actually quite good for small projects, quite sturdy but cannot handle heavy transformers or other heavy weights, e.g 12V, 10Ah SLA without some reinforcement (use some aluminum bracing using the plastic frame), so quite good for lightweight electronics.I used mine for Power Supply and Emergency Lamp and worked quite good for my applications.The sheet metal is extremely thin…

The case isn't the best build quality making use of a ton of self tapping screws to hold the parts together + some cosmetic blemishes in all of the 3 cases I ordered.That said it's also a very affordable case for prototyping projects and once assembled generally holds together well so while it's not perfect it's still worth it if you do electronics projects and want to protect components (and yourself) with a case.

I bought this box because I really liked the blue color. I think the quality of the materials are plenty fine for DIY electronics project. However, the box arrived with paint scratched in several places, and one of the side panels was warped and had a large dent in the corner. The panels were screwed on with two screws when I received the box. It was generally packed well so I do not think the damage occurred in shipping.I was not too bothered with this so I went ahead and used it anyway…

This is a great looking enclosure. The price is great. Makes a professional looking project. Easy to build into.My only complaint is the feet. The listing shows rubber feet. These feet are definitely not rubber, but are hard plastic. The enclosure will slide around your surface with the slightest effort. I added some rubber bump-on feet to the bottom of the provided feet at it stays in place nicely.Attached is a photo of my 4 wire ohm meter project.

This junction box wasn't made very well but the company took care of the problem which is why I am giving it a 5 star review now. I can understand that sometimes products like this will have problems but what makes the difference is whether the company will take care of its customers and make things right and this company did.

This product arrived on time and in good condition. It is study enough for our use an electronics casing for thermal controllers.

This is an awesome project box which is easy to modify to whatever unique needs you may have. I just wish it came with some other color options.

It's a very good quality, I found it very easy to remove the front to drill holes for several gauges and a switch . Plenty of room to do what I needed.
