Nicely made but could be thicker

I have not finished the project that the box will be used for but was pleasantly surprised finding additional mounting bosses inside the box - they will come in handy as I mount the internal components. the lid has a nice seal, the screw bosses are brass so won't corrode but the real test will be in how well the plastic holds up the outside exposure, which I won't know for some time. the material could be a bit thicker which would make it more resistant to damage.

  • Very nice, heavy duty construction, thick plastic, seals well.
Cons
  • Did not seal in all positions on the lid.

Nice project boxes.

These boxes are nice. It comes with a silicone gasket that it a bit annoying to install, but they are good quality boxes. Cannot attest to the water resistance.

Good product for the price.

I ordered these for a project they seem to be very sturdy and thick. I haven't been able to see if they are water tight yet they are small but should work for what I need them to do.

Perfect size and excellent build quality!

Used box for 4way switch on atv to control snow plow and worked out perfectly! Liked the gasket to place between the 2 halves also. Havent been able to test the waterproof side but assume it will be fine for my needs!

Great product on my review.

This is a very well made project box. It has non-magnetic stainless screws and brass threaded inserts, along with an o-ring type seal. Can't ask for more for the money.

Better than expected.

Perfect little project box. Comes with gasket for water resistance. Box-side threads for the screws are metal inserts so will survive reassembly for mods nicely.

  • Able to drill holes in it without any problems. Just the right size I needed.

  • Components can become dislodged during transportation

Good not great design

Good not great design. Fits well and the anchors are great. But the box sags a bit after b install. Could have made the side connect to the back farther up the back giving it more support.

Solid liitle box in my review

Works find so far. I've used it to make junction boxes inline for LED strip lighting as well as for connecting up DC source power. So far has survived some heavy rain and wind, as well as multiple snows with significant wind without any signs of leading.

Great box for many different projects.

I used this to put a larger battery on my Honda walk behind mower so it would be easier to start. I can see multiple uses for this box. Hobbiest could use it for multiple configurations for electronic projects.

Does the job in my review

Well made small box. Easy to drill. Includes a compressible gasket to seal the lid.I didn’t initially understand the features inside the box, discovered it has two small closed off sections in opposite corners that can be used to mount it without compromising the watertight main compartment.

installed the gasket. installed and tighten the 4 screws. 1 corner of this box was lifted and not sealed.removed screws and turned the top. installed 4 screws and tighten. same thing 1 end was not sealed. removed screws and gasket then put top back on with the 4 screws and tighten. 1 corner raised up with no effort about 1/8" . I ordered 2 of these so I checked the second one. Guess what. same thing.Got longer bolts to tighten from very top of box. Discovered that 1 of the thrd. inserts in the…
