It works great for her so perfect for me

I'm buying Honeycrisp apples. It works fine for her so it's perfect for me! It will take some effort on your part, so unless you plan on using them to slice an apple, don't use them. In my opinion, cutting apple slices quickly, easily and almost perfectly is worth it!

Strength Issues at Corers & Pitters

I was excited when I got the slicer because I thought it would end my frustration with eating apples (biting with dentures and slicing with arthritic hands). To my dismay, I didn't have the strength to stick the knife through the apple. This isn't the divider's fault, just be aware if you're buying for younger children or the elderly. My adult son used it with no problems.

Good quality apple slicer at a reasonable price

We bought this model for my wife who eats apples like no one else I know. This is a very well built apple knife with very sharp blades (be careful when using them) and a well built, squeak free and rigid frame. It seems to work better than some of the (much) more expensive models I've seen and my wife has loved it since we got it. At such a wonderful price and with such a well-made construction, this is an easy five star device.

Big Time Saver: Corers & Pitters

My kids love apples and I spent a lot of time slicing apples and then removing the core. With this handy gadget, I can just press an apple and voila, I need slices with a core in the middle that I can just throw away. True, if the apple isn't of the ideal proportions, the core can remain on the slices, but in most cases it works fine. But you must have strong hands. Sometimes it takes a lot of pressure to cut through an apple.

Beautiful and sharp - kitchen and dining room

There is not much to say about this. The metal blades are pretty sharp. The green handles are large and comfortable. So far it has cleared up well; no rust. I wash by hand. The dark green makes it attractive enough to keep on the counter, but I keep mine in the closet. For $10, I think it might be a few bucks more than it needs to be. I think it's worth it for a more stylish design. I saw cheaper ones in the supermarket but they looked cheaper hehe :) I uploaded some photos to show the top and…

Finally a punch that does its job without breaking.

My first apple corer was from Target, and a pathetic thing that cracked in two places after a few dozen apples. I figured a solid block of metal would be better, so I bought one as a replacement (also from Target), but the entire blade assembly detached from the metal handles after about the same number of apples. Having exhausted all two of my Target Apple Splitter options, I went online and found these. I hesitated a bit as my first one was also plastic and this one was terrible again. But I…
