Review on 🍏 ZYLISS Apple Slicer - Cutter, Corer, Divider Tool, Green by Kimberly Peterson

My first apple corer was from Target, and a pathetic thing that cracked in two places after a few dozen apples. I figured a solid block of metal would be better, so I bought one as a replacement (also from Target), but the entire blade assembly detached from the metal handles after about the same number of apples. Having exhausted all two of my Target Apple Splitter options, I went online and found these. I hesitated a bit as my first one was also plastic and this one was terrible again. But I can say with confidence that after two failed attempts I've finally found one that I'm very happy with. This Zyliss device has survived a few hundred apples (I've eaten a ton of apples so far) and it's still working as well as it did on day one. It's also larger than many other devices, so I can slice regular sized apples, not just "lunchbox-sized" apples. The only downside is the "core" aspect. Of the three samplers I've used, this one has the smallest diameter. It's not a big deal, but I've found that I almost always come across a seed that's either pushed aside or cut off. Some people may prefer this as it means they get "more apples". I'd rather err on the side of "less than one core", but that's just me.
