imToken is really basic wallet to store cryptocurrency. It has been trusted by many users around the world and has been existed for many years. It also let the users connect to many DApps on a number of blockchains, which is a great features. However, I don't like that it just support a few cryptocurrencies and the private keys are kept by the companies behind it. Adding more coins on other blockchain would bring massive benefits to the users and the wallet itself

Positive point: The wallet has established ecosystem partnership with a lot of big organization such as Ethereum, Zcash, Consensys, Cosmos, etc. This is a proof that the wallet can be trusted
Pros
- imToken has a simple and professional design that it serves even the most difficult users. I like the products that take much care for their products appearances
- Every tokens on Ethereum blockchain is compatible to this wallet even though they are normal tokens or collectible tokens
- It supports users to connect their wallet to the DApps on supported blockchains. This gives it more utilities and use-cases than the other simple wallet.
- If a user loses his keys, he can always ask the support to recover them so it is very suitable for someone who is not very careful
- It has a Market function, where users can watch the price on some CEXs and trade using Tokenlon (a product from the same company that helps to swap coins/tokens instantly and find the cryptocurrency-realated financial service, without trusting the thrid parties) or Kyber Network, and
- It is supper simple and easy to use. Even the beginners can utilize the most out of this wallet
- There is a large community using it to store their digital assets so this wallet is highly trusted
Cons
- imToken Wallet does not support a wide range of coins. It should add more coins/tokens on other blockchains to attract more users as the total number of blockchain right now has been thounsands
- Comparing to wallets such as Trust wallet, the number of supported DApps on imToken is smaller as it currently support less than 10 blockchains and many of them does not support DApps
- Your private key on this wallet is kept by you and also the company behind it. If a hack happens on their database, there is a high chance that the hackers will take over the private keys and steal the funds
You're wrong! I don't think they store any of your sensitive information like mnemonic, Keystore or private key. As far as I know, all the data is on the blockchain not on any server.
