It's pretty solid honestly it's got a little weight to it which is kind of nice, this is a hardware wallet which means that it will store some of your crypto currencies offline in a safe place, it's also 129 dollars which puts it a little bit below the new Trezor and just a little bit above the Ledger nano S and price, the keep key will hold Bitcoin ethereum litecoin doge and all ERC20 tokens another fun fact about this is that it actually has a shape-shift integration which means that you'll be able to do seamless change is actually on the keep key itself.

Pros
  • I'd say that it's quite sleek looking so definitely the design is nice also the aluminum it's pretty tough or at least it feels like it's probably pretty tough, so I'd imagine it would take a little bit of a beating, the KeepKey also open source which means that everybody can access the code and they can even be a part of the development if they want to be, immediate drawbacks would be the fact that it needs a plugin it needs a google chrome plug-in just like the Ledger which can be a little cumbersome because obviously you have to use a browser to access that, it's gonna be less portable than the Ledger or the Trezor obviously just because it's simply larger in size.
Cons
  • It hasn't been around as long as Ledger or Trezor as far as development goes, I am no whiz when it comes to code and I don't know about anything about the underlying tech or the security of the item, so my biggest con would probably be the fact that we don't really know how it's gonna stand up over time and if there's been any major issues with the security how it would hold up if somebody tried to crack it.
