Firstly, It is definitely not hard to use and doesn't have tangled features. It has two basic functions, a direct wallet for Ethereum and a character vault that allows the user to get to different platforms and approve transactions with a solitary tick.
Secondly, It is one of the leading non-custodial wallets on the market, since the hype of NFT is currently running in the crypto market, I use MetaMask to hold ERC-721 tokens, because NFT marketplaces connect directly to MetaMask so it is very convenient for me. Currently gas fees are much higher so I think everyone would want to be able to take their own NFT tokens on platforms like opensea in as few transactions.
Overall, I've been using MetaMask for a long time for my daily transactions and long holding, I've never had a problem and I'm just not afraid to use it because it's already a reputable wallet that has great users-base.
