There continues to be a need for proper education on the activities or nature of the blockchain technology as well as cryptocurrencies too. To this end, we have the Digital Frontiers Institute (DFI) that acts to educate and prep people ahead of the challenges and opportunities that characterizes the revolutionary, as well as fast-changing world we live in. DFI isle to provide all these and much more, through online education courses, use of targeted research, and also its own industry professionals. DFI builds capabilities with the view to bridge human capacity gaps that exist, especially in developing markets. DFI is also spread out between over 60 countries and the project boasts of 1, 500 industry professionals that represent public, private and development sectors in these 60 countries. This is possible, thanks to the online community of DFI. The statistics of the project is appealing as well. When I checked out the accomplishments of the institute, I found out that it has trained more than 2,000 students in about 90 countries, and more importantly, DFI, also has physical communities of practice established in 18 cities. The education offered by DFI is easily accessible and low income earners as well have an opportunity to learn with access to education, digital tools and other tools as well. DFI was founded by Gavin Krugel who is the CEO. Now the courses offered by the institute are highly regarded and rewarded with a certificate, but I personally feel that the price tag attached to these courses are quite high. But perhaps in view of what you’re going to benefit from this might not be the case.
