I have trusted this project since last year and i will hodl my coins until they will fly or burn in flames

Pros
  • Digibyte has been around for long and depite the crypto winter it has grown in use and followers
Cons
  • Digibyte inherent issue is increasing the user-base and the overall use for transactions

Pros
  • Experienced very fast transactions and might the fastest experience so far. Ability to mine through different algorithms.
Cons
  • Still have not gathered a considerable community around the project. Not enough progress in the recent times.

Its security and transection

Its security and transection

Pros
  • it is faster in transection than bitcoin Blockchain technology is fast approaching mass adoption Through the use of wallet technology it easy for anyone to securely store and manage your DigiBytes without the need for a trusted third-party.
Cons
  • I didn't face problem

DigiByte wants to give Bitcoin and Ethereum a run for their money. Some refer to DigiByte as “Bitcoin on steroids.” Like Ethereum, DigiByte provides both a cryptocurrency ($DBG) and a blockchain on which decentralized applications (dApps) can be created. Unlike Ethereum, DigiByte claims to be the fastest and most scalable blockchain in the world, promising massive on-chain scalability. Its goal is to be used as international currency, displacing impractical Bitcoin, which it considers more of a

Pros

Cons
  • Needs more acceptance, more users and deflation.

Someone think DigiByte really has a hidden potential while someone think it's a sleeping coin... In my opinion you can try to invest a small amount and wait.

Pros
  • After 4 years of consistent, committed development, rapid community growth and new use cases, the DigiByte Blockchain has become the world's longest, fastest and most secure UTXO blockchain in existence. More Secure. Team put security first, so now transactions, mining and the blockchain are safer.
Cons
  • Digibyte is not widely used in the community. Marketing and communication should be improved.

I'm not much of an expert on cryptos, so I cant go into technical details like most others can, but from my actual experience with Digibyte, It's pretty incredible, I dont know how it isn't already a huge thing.

Pros
  • Payments always go through real fast, the miner fees I pay are real low.
Cons
  • Like others have said on here, Digibyte for some reason isn't really being used by anyone.

DigiByte seems to me to be one of the very few true cryptocurrencies which, if implemented on a large scale right now, would actually work quickly and with low fees. Even the most popular cryptocurrencies right now are incapable of this. I am just waiting for some big companies to notice DGB and implement it, I cant wait.

Pros
  • - Currently mineable with 5 different algos. - Extremely fast transaction times & extremely low fees. - Completely decentralized, no LN bs. - Segwit implemented. - Knowledgeable dev team.
Cons
  • - Marketing seems to be a current problem.

https://www.digibyte.io/ This project is subject to the same growing pains as many BTC shaped objects, but it shows innovative answers to complex obstacles. Flexibility shown in the numerous forks hard and soft this project has found consensus with indicates the leaders are doing something right. Usually 4 people can't agree on pizza toppings but they can get 100 countries to use this? Sounds like there are some beneficial use cases here. DYOR and until the morrow beloveds, #ComeToPascoe.

Pros
  • 40x faster than Bitcoin, mineable, BTC shaped object, checklist killa ( yes decentralized, yes open, yes free, yes SegWit, ) excellent visuals and layout design on their website. Maximum 21B DGB over 21 years. An eye popping 190K nodes and use in +100 countries. While I am still developing my understanding of group sizes and whether or not I should be impressed by numbers ( centralization in a decentralized platform) this made me take notice. 190K people and or machines run by some number probably less than 190K but likely more than 10K people running it. Early adoption, anyone?
Cons
  • This highly impressive product had scarcely appeared before my 3rd wave of self driven education in this sphere, so I could complain of marketing ineffectiveness or lack of eye catching partnerships/ marketing campaigns, but truly this is a fault of the observer, not the project. I've been in the first wave ( sorta kinda heard of it a little) from 2014/15 or so. Got to second wave last spring ( researching more, maybe start mining or planning or designing apps on blockchain) and at this point I'm buried up to my ankles in it, except I'm upside down. If I were not a lazy writer, I would put something about a technical question that had been answered in a suspect way, luckily for us, I am not a lazy writer, and the technical answers make sense - TPS = blocks every 15 seconds instead of every 10 minutes as with BTC. Ok, setting up the mining side takes a little bit more know how than my beloved auto install GUI mines, but the challenge is there so people who invest 20 minutes of their study can benefit from it and help the world.

I use it to change my founds from exchanges. For example: Problem: You have 0.01 bitcoin in Kucoin and need to send your founds fast and cheap to bittrex. Solution: Changing Bitcoin to Digibyte with 0.1 % fee and sending it to bittrex with less than 1 Digibyte fee. Your bittrex account has the money inside for this cost ---> 0.1% + ( 1digibyte cost maybe 350 satoshis ). And now you can sell your Dgb for Btc in bittrex for a low fee cost of transaction. Conclussion: Estimated amount of…

Pros
  • Very low fees in exchanges and Digibyte transactions. Very fast transactions. 1 click miner will be published soon in multiple algos.
Cons
  • Low marketing.
