High quality RV pump fully compatible with Shurflo fittings

I ordered this water pump from DC House to replace a Shurflo pump that I recently replaced in my RV. They always seem to leak or stop working when I hike, so this way I can install a new one very quickly and not interrupt my hike. Like many people I use Shurflo pumps and had never heard of this brand so thought this would be a good opportunity to give it a try. My first impression when I received it was that it was very well built and in every way the same quality as the Shurflo if not better. I like that it has a metal mount with rubber braces. My old 2008 Shurflo had a thin solid rubber strut that allowed the pump to bounce back and forth everywhere and also bounced the canister filter next to it. Although I haven't installed it yet, I wanted to try it. So I attached it to a piece of plywood in my garage, connected the 1/2 inch hoses, lowered the inlet hose into a 2 gallon bucket of water and the outlet hose into the garage sink. I powered it from a car battery and it works very well and is very quiet for an RV pump. He very quickly pumped two gallons from the bucket into the sink. A metal bracket with rubber struts held the pump securely but dampened noise and vibration. I am fully confident that when I finally install it, it will work fine. By the way, the fittings are compatible with Shurflo fittings, so if you are replacing them in your RV, you can easily connect them to your existing fittings by connecting 2 DC cables. , fix with 4 screws and done. I also like that it comes with a sieve. The Shurflow device for the same price does not come with a sieve, you have to pay extra for that. So I'm very happy with this DC House unit and I think it's great quality for the asking price.
