Review on πŸ” Find the Perfect Replacement Handle Assembly for DeWalt DW705 Miter Saw - Part 395674-02 by Travis Caminiti

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reasonable replacement

The DW705 handle is inherently defective. It is thin and breaks for the second time. It is nothing more than a trigger grip that does not carry any weight. The black handle above it is meant to carry the weight, but all too often we make the mistake of being careless and try to lift it by the wrong handle. That being said, you're probably reading this because you broke yours too. Mine broke and had an old grip and trigger. This new grip fits but requires a new trigger. You can also buy this from Revain here: SW38C Aftermarket Electric Trigger (Eaton style) replaces DeWalt 391926-01 and 391926-00 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009YWD16U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_N-zpybXG8K8AHI includes pictures of my model , an old broken grip/trigger and a new grip/trigger. Is working. My title says "reasonable replacement" because I'm not satisfied that the replacement is as flimsy as the original. I almost made a mistake while repairing by lifting the new handle. DeWalt should have made this grip a carrier, but they didn't. Still, I give 5 stars because the replacement works.
