The packaging had a small rip in it. Not really a big deal since none of the brushes inside were damaged. The unpainted wooden handle brushes and the ones with the handle painted red have bristles coming out left, right and center. The photo attached shows just a smidge of the bristles that came out of one of the red-handled brushes. The rest of the red brushes have their bristles stuck together. I do really like the feel of the blue brushes. That said, I did in fact buy this mainly for the bigger brushes and when you consider the price, the imperfections are no skin off my back since I intended to leave them for when my younger cousins come over. Would I buy these again, sure since its very inexpensive. If you want to be able to properly use all of these brushes then. maybe skip this one.
