Pretty powerful little shredder! I wanted a cross shredder but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on it. Most of them under $100 were straight forward shredders. Found this gem, read the reviews and decided to give it a try. So far, so good. It tears without jamming, although I don't read more than five pages at a time. Unopened Mail: I hate it when companies spend money to send me junk mail that I never open or read. This shredder goes through them like a hot knife through butter, and I don't regret the wasted mail: I use shredded paper as mulch in my herb garden. It's not as quiet as some of the shredders I've used in the past. but it works for me in the home office. Good product for the shredder at home.
