This HAT seems to work fine EXCEPT with my Raspberry Pi Zero I can't set microstepping via software Permanently setting microstepping via hardware DIP switches works perfect. No response from Waveshare tech support (yet).[EDIT] Finally an email from Waveshare. What the HAT manual doesn't mention are the following steps to control microstepping via software: (1) On the back of the HAT PCB, solder wires to the two pins of each of the six resistors located next to the DIP Switches that bypass these resistors. (2) Set the DIP switches to 1/Off. I upgraded my rating but can't give it a 5 due to poor management.
