These wire cutters are much sharper and more accurate than the last ones I had to replace because the spring mechanism broke. Unfortunately, the spring mechanism on them started slipping right out of the box. They're still usable, but that's an annoying problem. There are torx screws that can be tightened, but I haven't tried it yet. It would be better if the spring mechanism was spot welded. You can't replace the springs, but most people just throw them away when they finally break, and I doubt replacements are even available. Eventually I'll tighten and secure the bolts and the slippage I'm experiencing should stop.
