The rope is great for workouts. I and my wife started climbing and the first couple of days our hands hurt like there is no tomorrow. Now we can climb up a couple of times in a row without any issues. The rope hangs on a tree. We live northwest of Chicago, so we get rain, wind, sun, and everything else, no snow yet. Lately, after a few heavy showers of rain, we had a week of sun and the rope dried out. It stretched out and became thinner. the diameter of the rope is not 1.5in anymore but more like 1 inch. That makes it very hard to hold on. I wonder if it makes my grip stronger. Does that happen to others?
