There should be a class action lawsuit for this brick

Absolutely awful So many bugs. requires a downgrade to restore missing options, which randomly disappear after a few months of use (just a record button, nothing major, that needs to be pressed for some reason when it decides to stop recording on a specific schedule). Months of lag time between the release of a new camera model and support on DVDR-Link quietly introduced a new firmware and hardware version, leaving the original A2 model in the dust. Dlink never responds to forum posts from this area. dlink will also refuse to work with you if you don't have a "compatible drive" installed. Like one of a few drives they've bought themselves and verified that they come with a SATA connector. The block for the mop part requires Java to run browser-integrated AND active X, which basically leaves you with Windows XP Internet Explorer if you need to use any functionality beyond the most basic. UPDATE: Bite your teeth and buy a cheap computer that already has a Windows license. Install a large hard drive there and use BlueIris. Works GREAT, also the app has no lag like Dlink.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Modernity
