Great walkie talkies for the price! We took them on a hike this weekend and all four survived. (Walkie-talkies and folks, haha.) This includes my seven-year-old dropping his several times. It's scratched but still works great. I'm not sure how far they worked, but we walked the nature trails and talked the whole time. After about six hours on the road, the batteries are still more than half empty. There are many channels and privacy bands to choose from. We didn't hit the intersection. I was able to scan the weather radio and get the current conditions. I really loved it. My old Motorola kit that I use at work CANNOT do this. The included straps are a nice touch, but I prefer using a belt clip instead. After all it was a game for my younger one who decided to turn back. My wife and I carried ours on the straps of our backpacks. But very comfortable. I'll probably use one of the gray straps for my badge at work. I am very happy with them. We'll be using a lot of it this summer. Very cool!
