I bought these clips to hold a 'makeshift' plywood roof over a heat pump when supply chain problems prevented delivery of the metal roof before an early snowfall. The zip ties still keep everything in place, clean and dry since the summer rains thwarted the roofing project. Now the contractor has all his "stuff" in front of my tin roof. I bet these collars will last another winter. Although a lot of snow and ice was blown off the roof last winter, they didn't move. I checked them for rust and it was my surprise - no rust after almost a year of snow and rain.
