I bought this large shrink wrap to bridge the connection between a 20 amp to 30 amp converter that's not rated for outdoors. I cut it so that it was a bit longer than necessary hoping that it would shrink down small enough to get the melted glue onto the shank of the connecting cord for a better water proof seal. It did so wonderfully. While it's only been a month or so, I've had no problems with my marina electrical connection so far, and don't expect to. It took a little while with the heat gun to get it completely sealed, but that's to be expected, this is the largest shrink wrap I've ever used. Now I just need to find something to do with the other 3' or so of it.
