Review on CRAFTSMAN Ratchet 72 Tooth 8 Inch CMMT99420 by Jason Lockwood

I don't normally write product reviews but figured I should as I had to return this one and wanted to write a review as this information was not available. was present at the time of purchase. It's a chunky, comfortable ratchet, but it's hard to tell the size from Revain's description and photos. The critical measurement that didn't work for me was that the head was 5/8" (0.625") thick. I needed something more subtle for my purpose. It also feels better than the old Craftman teardrop ratchets, it has about 2x more teeth, the chrome is better, but the ratchet feels massive (which isn't bad). As I mentioned, the head is huge and doesn't fit into tight spaces as much as I need to. I ended up replacing it (and its shorter relatives) with a Matco, which is what I was looking for. I think this ratchet is great value for money and will do just fine as long as you have the right expectations.
