Edit 2: The seller gave me a choice of refund or replacement and I happily accepted the replacement. Delivery was ahead of schedule and the fit was just as comfortable as my first pair. The protectors feel solid and I'm sure they will last at least a year. Very happy with the result even if it took some time. Edit: The seller contacted me and we are working on a solution. Once the replacement arrives I'll happily give 5 stars as the shoes are great. First off, this is one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I loved her for the first 3 months. I bought these shoes for disc golf and only wear them on the course. You wear maybe 3-4 hours a week. Sometimes more sometimes less. After about 3 months I noticed that one of the steps under the ball of my foot was coming off the sole. Shortly after, my other boot had the same problem. I don't wear these shoes very often and have only had them for a very short time. I contacted the seller to find a solution but the seller stopped responding to messages with no explanation. Now with these shoes there is a risk of tripping over rocks and roots. Adidas Terrex shoes are a little less comfortable but last a lot longer and are cheaper. It's a shame because these shoes are really very comfortable, but at $130 I expect to be able to wear them for at least a year.
