Too narrow! - Men's

I've had several Keens and liked them for their roomy fit and roomy toe box. But this shoe was unusually narrow for my normal size. Love the look, the fit was just off. I found out there is a larger size on the same show on the Keen website and ordered one there and it fit much better.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great construction, great fit, great shoe!

I got these shoes a week ago but I really like them! They fit perfectly and have the same quality I expect from Keen shoes: superb. So far I love these shoes! Total Transparency: I've been wearing the Targhee II for years, but this time I decided to pay a little more for the Targhee III hoping the leather wouldn't come off the sole, just behind the toe of the shoe. . I think/hope the Targhee III design will prevent that.

Great shoes! suitable for men

My husband has slightly wide feet and a low arch so it is difficult to find comfortable shoes. He tried on Keen's sneakers at Dicks Sporting Goods and while they were great, he thought paying for shoes was too much. So I went to Revain and they were cheaper so I bought them. Now he won't take them off anymore. He walks on the beach, kayaks, rides bikes and hikes. His knee problem is even worse. I highly recommend trying these because it has taken my husband 60 years to find shoes that actually…

Basically KIN! fits shoes

On my feet all day, mostly on the sidewalk. I'm also a pretty big brother, so leg comfort is KEY for me. These Keens got pretty comfortable once I got used to the roomy sock. I deducted a star because for me these are extreme training boxes. I've looked through the whole range of Merrells and the like and tried them after seeing them in REI. Unfortunately, I'm not happy about my socks sticking to my feet when I take them off - and dammit, it stinks! to!

Painless Planter's Fasciitis

I walk my dogs and have driven many miles. About six months ago I began a long struggle to resolve a case of planter fasciitis that I never had. I will not make any effort to overcome its consequences. But after some research I ordered a pair. I ordered them wide to accommodate a couple of inserts that fit perfectly over the inserts Keen provided. I wore them right out of the box and rode about 50 miles in the first four days. Guess what? No fasciitis planters! Absolutely no symptoms. Without…

a bit tight but I can stretch them

They feel a bit small for a size 13 compared to my other boots and keen boots but overall I like these hiking boots, they give me more support than my moccasins. I don't have wide or narrow feet and I usually wear Thorlo hiking socks (boots and moccasins). Lighter socks can help. I've only worn them indoors and they may take longer to break. I usually adjust my shoes for a better fit and I already had a little stretch on my right toe but was surprised at how well the left shoe fits. I've…

Not good. suitable for men

This was my third pair of Keen shoes. The previous two were great. Each offered a decent level of water protection and were well built. This . . . not as much. No one should reasonably expect a shoe to keep his or her foot dry when traversing a puddle that extends well beyond the sole. However, for the price, these shoes should keep your feet dry when working in wet grass, walking outside after a light rain, etc. Unfortunately, water keeps getting into the toe of these boots, even when I'm…

Comfortable shoes, good customer care, happy ending

Edit 2: The seller gave me a choice of refund or replacement and I happily accepted the replacement. Delivery was ahead of schedule and the fit was just as comfortable as my first pair. The protectors feel solid and I'm sure they will last at least a year. Very happy with the result even if it took some time. Edit: The seller contacted me and we are working on a solution. Once the replacement arrives I'll happily give 5 stars as the shoes are great. First off, this is one of the most…

Excellent value for money, good performance, fit, comfort.

I used to have a pair of black full leather Keens - they lasted 10 years! They appear to be equally well made and fit well. The toe box is a bit smaller than my old models, but still larger than most (thank goodness!). The insole is very comfortable but lacks some arch support which I like - not as high as my old boots. They are still very comfortable for several hours. Not sure if it's a half day or full day hike. Of course, this is a very personal thing and your mileage may vary. The grip of…
