These metal shelves will hold a lot of weight. Definitely perfect for pots and pans. Unfortunately I have a shelf in all of my lower cabinets that extends to about half the depth of the cabinet, so this shelf unit won’t fit all the way in, I’ll have to cut through that shelf if I want it to fit. That’s definitely my fault for not measuring, these shelves would be perfect for cabinets which have the space for it.In the meantime I will be using it in my pantry, the floor under bottom shelf is a hot mess and this will be so helpful organizing and being able to access all my baking gadgets that are just in a big canvas bag right now.One thing to note, the 2 shelves are attached to each other and move as one on the slides. So you can’t just pull out the bottom or top shelf. Also because of this, the drawer slides are really heavy duty and don’t come out easily, for good reason if they’re holding heavy stuff like pots and pans. You NEED to screw this thing into the floor of wherever you’re installing it.Overall really happy with this shelf unit, it’s very high quality and very spacious.
