Review on 🔧 GM Genuine Parts 25780186 Parking Brake Control Module: Reliable Assembly for Efficient Brake Control by Jeremy Bradford

The product is installed but when you try to press the parking brake pedal, part of the assembly contacts the instrument panel and prevents you from applying the parking brake. After the device was fully installed I had to remove it and trim about an inch of excess material from the part of the assembly that moves when you press the parking brake pedal. Upon inspection, the device is slightly different from the factory part. The app data says it is compatible with 2003 Chevrolet Silverado HD. This unit also doesn't seem to apply the parking brake as effectively. I would happily return this in favor of 25780187 but I had to alter the part to make it work so not sure if this company will accept it for a refund. I'm happy to pay the difference between this item and 25780187. Don't rely on app data here. First remove your part and make sure the photo matches what you took of the car.
