Review on Pure Tung Oil - 32 Fl Oz | Waterproof, Natural Wood Finish & Sealer by Hope's by Shaneequah Craig

Firstly, I have never used PURE Tung Oil. I have used mixes either diluted or mixed with nail polish and have really enjoyed these products. To be clear, I'm in the middle of a project with this product right now, but my first thoughts are: 1. Because it's pure tung oil, it doesn't spread as easily as other formulas. The consistency is very similar to syrup, but not sticky. It spreads and I found the woven fabric accommodates it well and makes it easy to pull on each layer. I don't like the smell. It's hard to explain, but it's not a scent I like and I'm looking for ways to keep it off my clothes and skin, not only for safety reasons, but to keep the smell out.3. he is fat So it really feels like it penetrates well. I'll know better by my sixth coat, but I'm hoping the thick consistency isn't synonymous with a sticky finish. (wiping between coats) 4. The finish I see after the second coat looks good. This is a fairly flat surface, which is what you would expect from tung oil. I plan on applying varnish to the final quote to give it some shine. My project is that I'm going to put this on a solid walnut table that isn't finished yet. In a few days I will provide the final photos of the project.
