Review on Spectra Premium FG156A Fuel Sending by Carnell Bollwitt

Bought for 86 GN. I didn't have much of a choice so I chose Spectra. It came with a bottom bushing, a hose that goes between the pump and the gauge, a rubber oil scraper that goes between the gauge and the tank, a new snap ring and a petrol hose. Ohm resistors were ideal: 0 was empty and 90 was full. All cables fit together perfectly, as does the electrical connector. The dimensions are also almost identical. The only area of concern is the plastic area where the electrical sensor is located. For some reason it sticks out more than the normal one. I was surprised as everything else is so similar. It must have escaped quality control. This complicates placement in the tank. Actually, I was afraid that it wouldn't fit at all. I ended up having to squeeze the plastic piece a bit to get through the hole. I never had to apply enough pressure to make him feel like he was about to break. So far this is my only complaint. It works well. I would buy it again as the price was more than fair and my only complaint wasn't a major issue.
