8/23/21 Background: I live in Ann Arbor Michigan we have 4k 4k ATSC 3.0 channels. They operate at different frequencies than their standard HD versions. I use a Plex server to share this tuner with my TVs, cell phones, and Roku computers. My last tuner was a quaHD which worked really well over the winter but once it was all gone the signal on every channel disappeared. One weird thing is that my Fox channel is VHF and not everything else that is UHF. Installing this 4k tuner was very easy, hooked up to network, antenna cable and power, within 2 minutes I was seeing it in the plex. I just set it up in Plex, scanned the channels and saw almost twice as many channels as my old tuner. Including 4 channels ATSC3.0. Pros: My ATSC 1.0 channels sound almost perfect, which is a huge improvement over my old QuadHD tuner. Channel switching is very fast. My old channel didn't start. The bad: ATSC3 uses AC4 for audio, but there's no publicly available codec, so there's no audio on ATSC3 channels. I will update as soon as there is a codec and sound. 64GB Dual Xeon 2.6GHz Quatro p400 GPU 500GB NMVe Monster.
