I bought these for my son, a 2009 Honda Civic LX coupe. and I'll start by saying the car probably didn't have to replace them. I bought a used car with about 135,000 miles, now it has 143,000 and I didn't know the story. Since I just changed the spark plugs, I decided to change the ignition coils at the same time, as they are very easy to change. Denso, Honda's original equipment manufacturer for this part, made them the logical choice. Changing the spark plugs and installing the ignition coil was a simple job that I could leave to my 17-year-old son while I looked over my shoulder. So it was a great learning opportunity and good time between father and son.
