An anti-flicker device was DEAD on arrival

Not sure if I really need anti-flicker devices on my 2014 Dodge Durango. I first tested Hikari 9012 LED bulbs without bathing devices and found no flickering or dashboard warning lights. I decided to install them anyway since I already paid for them. First I installed an anti-flicker device on the passenger side. No questions. The device on the driver's side was not working. No matter how I switch the polarity. I removed the anti-flicker device and just wired the bulbs directly to the headlight

Pros
  • Robust surface
Cons
  • The list would be long.

Complete crap gets no food.

Plugged them in hoping they would fix the bug issue. When I plugged them in none of the headlights worked so I swapped them out to see if the problem was with the polarity. Neither combination worked. When I applied an ohmmeter to test, only the positive side had a connection, the negative did not. I checked the power supply directly to the headlights and got 12V, connected the end of this element, observing the polarity, checked with a voltmeter and got 0V. Needless to say, it's rubbish. My…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

Unfortunately they don't fit my 2015 Ram 1500 with projector headlights. worked 3-4 days. My guess is that since my drive was only about 20 minutes Canbus didn't have time to make a mistake until I started using my remote start to start the truck for another 10-15 minutes before driving to work . On my first day of remote start, I flickered on the road, but to make matters worse, the headlights turned off when I made a sharp turn to exit the freeway off the highway. Talk about scary like shit…

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Fits

disappointed with ballast resistors

Firstly I have a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Hikari 9006 LED bulbs, my headlights stay on after they turn off so I ordered them. They worked, just had to reverse the wiring harness due to polarity issues, which I'm sure most Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge owners already knew. Anyhow, the reason I only gave 2 stars is because while they worked like a charm, they don't seem to last very long. I've bought them 2 times, the first time they lasted about 5 months and the driver's side fuse blew causing…

Didn't work on 2008 Subaru Outback

I bought Hikari H7 headlights, 9005 high beams and 9006 fog lights for my 2008 Subaru Outback. When I turned the lights off, only the high beams flickered (they technically turn on and off very quickly). Upon examination, it appears that the flickering is due to either a lack of power or a communication failure between the car's computer and the headlight's electrical system. I bought three matching Hikari resistors - one set for H7 bulbs, one set for 9006 bulbs and another set for 9005 bulbs…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
