I love to hike/backpack. Living in the Pacific Northwest there are plenty of opportunities for these activities. As I've begun to age the feet just get blisters so easily. I've tried so many things. But they just don't help. So this was next on the list. This past weekend I went on a short backpacking trip. 2 miles in to Oval Lake (Mt Hood Nat'l Forest). I brought these sandals as a backup to one more attempt at taping and using Second Skin. Still was working on heal blisters as I approached the destination. Put these sandals on (with hiking socks - great look) and the relief was immediate. The next morning we hiked 2 miles to Lookout Mountain. 2 miles back to camp. 2 miles (with backpack) back to the trailhead.FEET FELT GREAT! I haven't been on a hike in recent years where I've felt this good. The bottom of my feet didn't even hurt. The soles are rather hard. Not a lot of cushion there. But I'm not complaining. I felt great after the 6 miles on Saturday and was ready to go for more.Did I get rocks under my feet? Twice. Small little things. Got them right out and kept on going.
