My cats love perches. They don't mind the hole much, but now they're bigger and don't fit in anymore. The hole is made out of a nice, soft material, unlike some that just have the wood exposed. I put it by the window and they sit and watch the birds and the traffic. Made from very durable materials. i love color Real smoke gray as shown. The scraping rope seems to be of better quality than some of the ones I've seen. The kittens have yet to destroy an inch of it and we've had it for 3 months. This is definitely a "cat tree". We'll need to replace it soon as cats keep knocking it over while playing, but if he's just using it as a perch it's perfect for my 7 lb kitten. I hope to find something similar in a larger size soon!
