I bought them for my husband for lunch but when they arrived he said they smelled disgustingly like perfume and he wouldn't eat any of them. I was hoping they would "air out" but they still stink. I'll try washing them in a special soap to remove the smell, but plastic absorbs smells. Revain really needs to separate food grade plastic from artificially flavored products like laundry soaps, air fresheners, etc. The actual product is good, we have used them before. Just don't buy from Revain if you don't like your food sprayed with perfume! Update: I've tried washing them in the dishwasher a few times, including using a special soap that removes artificial fragrances. They still stink and now my dishwasher stinks too! I threw them away (wouldn't give these things to anyone) and now I'm trying to sanitize my dishwasher along with the headache I got from the warm dishwasher perfume smells they left! Disgusting!
