Great quality but difficult to put on

We bought this for our 2.5 year old. The quality is excellent but it was very difficult to put on. We definitely bought a large size. Even if you have to hold your fingers to make it slide. I had to use my pinky to make room and it hurt. Even after he hadn't slipped in. Had to send it back to KOHL for a full refund.
