Great item and goes well with my 2004 Dodge Ram1500 5.7L. You will absolutely need a PWR Steering Pulley Remove/Install Kit to replace this pump. - Installing a pulley on a new pump is a real challenge. The fit is very, very tight and molybdenum grease is essential to prevent sticking when lowering the pulley with the setting tool. Work slow and little by little, I turned a few screws when they removed the adjuster rod, being careful to screw it all the way into the pump to prevent it from being pulled out and stripping the pump shaft threads. Make sure the pulley is back at the same height as the original depth to ensure the serpentine belt stays aligned.
