Review on Hopkins 47297 INSIGHT Simplified Brake Control Plug-in by Eric Rose

Hopkins Insight installs easily and I have to say I like it. Three different components (brain, controller, display) were easy to install in the right places. Management is very easy. In just a few minutes I had enough setup to get my 25ft trailer out of the distribution area. I've played with it a bit, on the road and then on the Autobahn, and I think I've set it up already. I would say it really took about 15 minutes. I'm sure if we hit the road soon I might tweak it a bit more, but I'm very confident with the way it stops and starts - very controlled and smooth. The only two adjustments that need to be made are applied power and sensitivity. I think sensitivity is how sensitive the accelerometer is to work. I never thought I could get by with a non-proportional controller, but this one might help!
