This item is a piece of crap, it won't fit on the Louisville stairs.
I tried to put this "universal" bucket of paint, it doesn't even come close to matching. I called the Kentucky factory, they asked for a photo, which I sent them. The support guy texts me back that they must have screwed it up at the factory and he sent me a new one direct from them. Received it, tried to install it and it was the same - 2 inches from either side where it needs to connect to the ladder to fold properly. I texted him back and he told me. Well, I guess it's not that universal after all. And all.
