Review on 🚚 Reese Strait-Line (66074) 1,200 lb Trunnion Style Weight Distribution Kit: Enhanced Towing Stability and Safety Solution by Rico Posley

I switched to this rig from our DrawTite round bar rig with anti-swing friction control. Less hooking and unhooking and works great! I don't notice any wobble as much as with a friction anti-wobble. The instructions for the weight distribution system are separate from the Dual Cam Anti-Sway and are a bit confusing. I had to search articles and forums online to get it right. After a little tweak to the dual camera, it works great. I don't understand why Reese did this, but her directions are pretty bad. The system itself is quite capable so I'm not worried about it breaking as I also bought a higher rated system than I need. I just make sure the trunnion heads that go into the clutch head are lubricated with oil and petroleum jelly is put between the rods and the twin cams to deaden the squeak and minimize wear.
