After removing all the parts to make sure everything is in place I noticed that the upholstery cleaning tool as shown in the instructions was missing. I contacted Revain and eventually the Johnson Vac & Sew sales representative. I needed a little explanation to understand that this doesn't come with the usual, recognizable upholstery tool. Lowering the flaps turns the dust remover into an upholstery tool. I personally wanted the one that Manuel describes. So they sent me one but I want anyone reading this to know it doesn't come with a regular upholstery tool as shown in the last photo. However, I love the vacuum and the soft hose. There is also a long lasting cord.
