The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Comparing with the third generation Fiio x5, the difference is noticeable in all positions, the difference, of course, is towards improvement. If x5 slowed down just terribly, m11 pro just flies. The sound is also a huge step forward. To the question of whether the improvements are worth such overpayments, my answer is definitely yes.
A separate point concerns the headphones, which are advisable to use with this player. Having a large arsenal of headphones costing up to 25 thousand, I realized that if they worked very well with x5 iii, then they become practically useless with this player. The only ears that pleased us were the good old simgot em5, they allowed us to evaluate the player and, in conjunction with it, opened up in a new way.
Definitely recommend to purchase. However, this is purely my personal opinion.

Pros

The sound is detailed with a study of frequencies at a very high level. The imaginary scene is sometimes simply amazing. On the whole, the player is neutral, but bass fans have not been forgotten, just about fans, not fans. I heard a nice, booming, detailed bass in my favorite simgot em5s, which, from my point of view, do not play bass by definition. The middle strikes with its reality, clarity of study. Well, as a fan of high frequencies, I can not help but note them. The developers made sure that the high frequencies were worked out in detail, but without frills, very pleasant to the ear.

Cons

An objective drawback - no equipment, at least a silicone case could be put. But this is on the conscience of Fiio. Everything else is a matter of taste.
