Rigid plastic pad in the metal leg

I was expecting a hard rubber pad in the metal leg. The metal legs are very nicely designed and easily meet my expectations. A big disappointment are the hard plastic inserts on the lining. If you mount on a carpet it will be great. I use them for the legs of a belt sander and they allow the whole machine to slide over the cement.
