good, the foot is made of plastic. and you need a leveling mat. The light is only 1W so you have very limited uses. The USB adapter is quite large and has a very bright indicator light. The base will not fit snugly in a 6 inch vase. just a few mm more (maybe if the lightbar is adjustable?). my thoughts. hth (ps. the packaging is excellent. I think I may have paid more for the packaging)
