Pick up those square legs
They slide about 1" x 1" on the side table legs. The little extra width it adds to the leg, along with the rubber base, makes the side table more stable and unlikely to move on a hardwood floor unless I want it to move. The parts are precision formed, sized to match the gauge, and appear to be made of hard rubber or thermoplastic. They are easy to attach and prevent the table from sliding on the wooden floor. And above all, they don't stink of plasticizers like some stamped parts.
