Review on BISSELL PowerFresh Steam Mop Pads (2 pack) with Fragrance Discs (4 count), Model 5938 by James Duffield

I recently bought a steam mop and I love it! Even though we live in a house where nobody wears shoes, the floors still get dirty. This purchase was also prompted by the purchase of an ivory sofa. I needed to find a way to mop floors more often and with less effort to protect pets from trailing dirt from the floor onto the new sofa. I have all wood floors, linoleum in the kitchen. I use the steam mop every other day and this is how the pad looked after one use, dirty (I had the steam mop two days earlier than pictured and the mop head was still gathering up a bit). I love using this cleansing pad. I wash them with hydrogen peroxide and they come back nice and white so I can see how dirty my floors are after every cleaning. Yes I'm obsessed with cleaning, I couldn't wash the floors with my hands and a bucket anymore, phew! And I believe that mops only move the dirt and never clean the corners. I've been cleaning apartments for years, it makes a big difference when the floors are clean the whole house looks better. This mop head works so well it leaves my floor with a clean shine which is great as I have old matt wood floors. Sometimes I just look at my shiny floors at night and it's so nice to walk on them barefoot that not a single particle sticks to my feet. And the knowledge that no chemicals were used (I don't put scent discs in the supplied mop head unless you like the smell of chemicals). I feel sick from the smell, I tried from the first use). I don't understand how the two philosophies go, 1. steam mop - no chemicals. 2. What chemicals can be added to this non-chemical steamer? Regardless, I'm so glad to know that my floors are 99% bacteria and chemical free. No need to buy an air purifier, saving you money. With two kittens I don't use chemicals where they can walk as they groom themselves and will ingest what I use to clean. I tend to non-toxic cleaning, so I had to get a mop with this attachment. It's safe for wooden floors, I can wash the whole apartment and half the water stays in the tank. It heats up very quickly, but uses a minimal amount of water. I use level two for wooden floors and level three, which steams the most, for the kitchen. There are no downsides to this product, I would just say that using the mop head as in the picture requires a little more force than the polishing pad which is easier to move. If I vape a few days in a row then on the second day I use a mop to buff my head knowing I wiped something coarser the day before. The entire apartment takes 15 minutes from installation to cleaning. Sooooo much faster than washing your hands! Highly recommended! Since then I have ordered more of these sets.
