I use this to connect to the TV in the evenings when I want to watch TV without the regular speakers and need it to be a little quieter so I can hear my elderly dad in the living room. My mum now has a portable BOSE neck soundbar that costs three times as much, so I'll be comparing them in this review. The only thing that stands out is that this neck strap easily connects to your TV and is a lot louder than a BOSE strap. Read the instructions because you need to hold the button for a certain amount of time and it will prompt you to know that the blue tooth is on. I think I just went into the TV settings and searched for speakers and just clicked to pair and we were good to go. My mom's speaker just didn't turn on very loud [BOSE]. I found that with this, the monster, I can control the volume with the remote and it was definitely louder. I was confused wondering why the buttons on the side of the speaker weren't working when I discovered that my smart TV remote would control the volume, which is MUCH easier anyway. My BOSE had the same function but only played very softly which was annoying. This was my biggest dissatisfaction with my mom's speaker, which I bought her a year ago. The new Monster speaker was the opposite and was loud. Yes, I had to turn the volume down a bit. The more expensive BOSE version will not go high enough! The best is the sound quality. It's amazingly clear for the voices and the special effects are just WOW! My mum asked me to order her one for her master bedroom and I suspect she will be using this one again. I think this is the best group. The only thing that confuses me a little is that it's not that soft on the neck. My mom said it's ok but my skin is sensitive. The silicone bothers me sometimes, so I guess I just wrap the fabric around my neck and drape it over it. I think that's the only area Monster needs to work on. My mom likes it better because she prefers the thin part behind her neck when lying in her bed in front of the TV [she has an adjustable one]. Besides, it costs money. FYI, this is not a tinny sound. It literally feels like surround sound. You hear noises going back and forth and wow. I was so impressed. If you are looking for a wearable bracelet at an affordable price, this will not disappoint. I'm honestly freaking surprised they're selling it at this price. If they flooded the market, these guys would win. I'm so glad I decided to try this one. I am currently connected to a Samsung Smart TV.
